Bear's Bath

Hailey has a pink fluffy bear that my dad gave her the day after she was born. She sure loves that bear, and has napped and slept with it everyday since! Unfortunately, when you are the bed-mate of a 20 month old, you become trapped in a firing lane of exploding diapers and pee-puddles! Also, Hailey's "papa" didn't think to give little Hailey a machine washable bear, so Mommy has been researching how to disinfect, clean and sanitize Hailey's pink, fluffy, and now very smelly lovey.

 I decided to give (him/her?) a sponge bath of sorts. I took a toothbrush and scrubbed it's fur and face with soap and rinsed it with water for over an HOUR! That little thing was d-i-r-t-y! An entire hour of my day dedicated to a safe bear and happy toddler. You are welcome, Hailey...

Someone else got a bath that night as well. Both bear and girl are now happily reunited and clean as ever!!
