We spent the first half of Christmas Eve with the Monson family, then spent the rest of the evening with my family and the Jones'. We read from Luke, acted out parts to the nativity story and enjoyed watching the new short movie about Christ's birth from our church. It was very reverent and thoughtful and we really enjoyed it. Even Hailey had a good understanding of who 'baby Jesus' was, and Jesus' mother, Mary, and of course, the sheep at the stable! We ate some treats and left for home to prepare for this special holiday!

When we got home, I surprised Hailey with a tradition my family started years ago with a Christmas Eve gift of pajamas! Each of us got a new pair, and slept cozy that night! By the way, Hailey is not naked in this picture, she is wearing a diaper, but couldn't wait for clothes to open her gift! Haha!

Next we had some family fun time on our bed! Hailey danced and jumped around as we sang Christmas carols. She now knows 'Jingle Bells' by heart!
